You and Yu tonight at McNally Jackson! Pardon my re(Y)used punning.
This is a last minute notice telling you to get down to McJ after work tonight, that’s July 31st at 7pm, for a reading and signing with Charles Yu.
Zombies, cyber-warriors and grief-outsourcing corporations are all fodder for Charles Yu’s particular take on the grand tropes of science fiction in his new short story collection Sorry Please Thank You.
Yu’s novel How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe, was a metafictional, science-fictional mindtrip, forging literary wormholes between genres. His stories in Sorry Please Thank You range even further afield. He will read from his new book, followed by a Q&A and signing.
