On Monday August 6th, Film Forum is showing the film adaptation of Rudolf Wilhelm Friedrich Ditzen’s Hans Fallada’s Little Man, What Now? Along with our friends over at Melville House (aka Dustin), we’ve put together a little contest in honor of this event.
The prize: two tickets to the film (a double screening that starts with Dupont’s Ladies Must Love at 8:15pm) along with a copy of Melville House’s beautiful translation of the German original.
The challenge: As you can see by our unceremonious strike-through above, Hans Fallada was not Hans Fallada’s real name but a pseudonym created from the names of characters in Grimm’s Fairy Tales. So, we want you to create a pseudonym derived from the names of characters in Fallada’s works. Best pseudonym wins (to be determined by a set of objective criteria that we have neither the time nor the space to explain here).
Good luck!?
